My fellow PSP users --

I have not yet made the investment in PSP 9, but for those of you who have, I would be very interested in hearing you feedback on any interface changes, new features, etc. that you like, dislike, what the rest of us can expect when we jump, etc.

I am really looking forward to reading what you have to say!

Regards,

I love Paint Shop Pro 9. Though I have to get use to the new color selection box the rest of it works great. It is alot more accurate and fluid with its effects and also i find its alot easier to be precise with it. I dont know how to realy give it a great review but it is better then 8. Also I have installed all my plugins in it as well with no problem. I am satisfied with PSP9 and recommend it.

David

Thanks David, that's exactly the kind of review that I was hoping for - particularly your input on it "feeling more precise" and the new color wheel. Does anyone else have anything to add?

Thanks again, David.

No problem. I just wish more people here would get into PSP talks here.

Kyrnt,
I have shifted from PhotoShop 7 to PSP 8/9 and find that I have no need for all of the "bells&whistles"!! The latest version will do RAW files from my Canon. The rest of what I used in PS I get in * PSP 9

Great message Anastazi -- thanks. A lot of people are finding that PSP has a great interface for the "day-to-day" tasks that most people do and yet also has the full-fledged power that Photoshop has as well.

Thanks for the feedback!

I wish to extend my thanks as well for the feedback, I suppose I should think about purchasing the newer version. Although I am still not overwhelmed with version 8, I still revert back to PSP 7.

I love version 9, it does feel more precise and clean. There are some suttle differences from 8 that have won me over. I was a 7 fanataci all the way, but 9 has cleaned up the new things that 8 had and then some. You will really feel like you are working with Photoshop's equal and not underling when you use PSP 9.

I did buy version 9, and with the two problem fixes Jasc provided the software seems very stable now. I am still learning the software myself, from what I see they improved on the Art Media and Photography tools.
