Hiya. I just wanted to say that that last message I posted wasnt exactly clear was it? So I'd just like to say sorry lol. I've now got a picture of the actual screen of what I was stuck on.. so take a look at the attachment and Please Please PLEASE! Reply with some help as I need it to make a picture for school. Thanks so much! (It should be easier to understand now BYE! MOI XX

Laura, you have an "object selection" around the text on your screen. That is the proper selection tool for vector objects (including text) in PSP. If you want the circle selection tool where you can "grab" some part of a raster image, the text must first be converted to raster -- you can do that by right-clicking on the vector layer in the layer pallette. But if you want to "format" the text (not sure exactly what you mean by that), it is probably best to leave it as vector. To change the text, font, color, size of vector text, you have the proper selection, double click on the layer in the layer pallette and a dialog box will popup. While the text is highlighted, make the changes to the text, font, color, etc using the available dialogs.
