Hello,

I'm a newbie to PSP, and seem to have messed something up. Previously when I used the 'Text' button the text would appear immediately, selected so I could move it around etc. Now when I type the text and click 'apply' it doesn't appear on the picture. If I go to Edit, it doesn't give me the option to 'Undo add text' as it did before (I was checking the text hadn't sort of blended in to the background) Does anyone know what I've done to it?

Thanks for reading xx

You probably clicked it off of "create as vector" I did this back in my newbie days. I love to work with vectors. If later on you decided you want to change the text, you just click it again and edit it.

Try looking at that, see if you have the box next "create as vector" checked in the tool pallette.

pinkpinkuk,

Another thing you can check is to make sure that the color of your text is not the same as the background you are putting it on -- that may make it look like the text is not being written.
