The more good quality content, the more visitors you will have.
Also do all the listed above: blog and forum comenting, article submisions.
Do on page SEO.

But it doesent matter how many backlinks you got... if you dont have good content, it all in vain.

everything everyone else said but most importantly hard work, there is no immediate and easy way to get lots of traffic unless you want to pay for it or cheat (which doesn't have long lasting effects)
