Your right, offline marketing is effective, especially in the free publications that are mailed to consumers for free. I have done that for an insurance website and received a lot of clicks and more importantly made some money. I should probably do it again.

Adwords might be a good starting point and build backlinks at the same time.

You shouldn't expect a lot of traffic from a new site though.

backlinks, backlinks and more backlinks is the best way. Take your time as if you are a new site, doing it too quickly will look very sus to the engines.

you can get traffic for a new website by just being participative on social networking sites. share what you have such as stories service that are something new to the audiences. be consistent in updating your website.

You can increase traffic by many means. I think, first of all you need to get twitter account as well as facebook account. And create a group and make a network.

Don't you think It's a bit ironic that your site says you are a one stop web solutions business which includes SEO and you're here asking for helpful suggestions on how to get traffic to your site? It might be better for your business if you actually know SEO before you advertise it as part of your services.

SEO is a critical component in building a business on the web. It is the element that will "make it or break it" for any business that depends on it for exposure. While all the suggestions you've been given so far are good its more complicated then that.

when you implement these suggestions you better do them right or you'll be landing on the "break it" side. If I were you I would start reading everything I could get my hands on regarding all aspects of SEO. Buy some books on SEO and different subjects like writing content, (content is king!) keywords, marketing, social networking, ad sense, etc. take an online course.....or you could just pay another company to do it all for you!

there are actually many ways to increase traffic to your website. you just have to be witty and wise and creative. some suggestions would be posting helpful and interesting content on your website, submitting your url to directories (as much as possible to all), promote on facebook. you can outsource someone to do this for you or you can do it yourself if you have all the time.
