Link building is very useful to get traffic and increase backlinks which is done by forum posting, blog comment, article submission, directory submission and social bookmarking submission among all of them I would like to go for social bookmarking which is very effective.

I really don't understand this link building back links thing.

People say I need more of them.
But how do I make sure I get good ones ?
If I submit to lots of directory sites, will I be getting bad sites ?

Although I think forum posting is good.
You would need to be on hundreds of forums and posting heaps to get a decent amount of hits.

I only post on forums where I think I can contribute to the topics.

You can also add links into gig marketplaces where you are offering your services. Some our yes follow (like ours) ...but beware the no follow marketplaces.

The most effective way of link building are forum submission, comments on blog, press release. Also article submission, directory submission and social bookmarking are useful.

I think going for quality links if FAR better and sustainable in the long term than going for cheap links in bulk quantity. Getting one quality link from a high authority blog or website via guest posting is far better than 100 trashy links!

I believe that article submission is the best way for link building, though it is bit difficult but very effective.
