Actually, there are ways to track your advertising efforts offline and online. There are a couple services that do this out there, but a really user friendly one I have been using is called Adminder. It allows you to create unique urls for each different advertisment. For example, a unique url for the pens, another for some flyers, etc. You can track not only visits but also sales or signups for each specific advertising method. http://www.adminder.com

Hello everyone, I just order a large quanity of t-shirts and bumper stickers, I believe this is the cheapest marketing there is. I see that some of you are talking about advertising in the media, this can RUN big bucks, so can advertising on buses and billboards, look into, but it is HUGE. If you are looking for local measurable results, promo items are good, t-shirts, keychains, bumperstickers, and so forth are great. I have been sending care packages to everybody I know out of state, people that promote my site to the affiliates and casino managers. I hope in some way this helps, and the best of luck to all. I disagree unionsnotdead. You need to gain trust on the internet. People don't usually splash out hard earned cash on unknowns. Gaining trust is important.

Offline advertising I tried (some I still do)

Custom logo on my car.

Stickers / Stamps on all outgoing mail.

Send "Promo" giveaway to people in charge of my target market. URL is on the promo item. Not junk either, custom quality product.
