Hi friends
What do you guys think about paid forum posting?
I have a forum which is not very active these days. I am looking forward to paid posting. Has anyone done this before? Is it really usefull? I was wondering howmuch posts are needed to get a bloom.

I tried it on my forum. It is a good way to get some posts on it. The problem is that only a few of the posters will stay active. But then I only really used it to get some decent posts on the forum and have it not looking empty. I get some new signups daily now so that is a good thing.

Mine isn't pay per post. I have just paid some posters to get it started which is the best option to do and then stop paying after a while.

Paid forum posting reminds me of some street performers who sometimes apply similar techniques (employing dummy customers among observers) to attract real customers. That may work initially but in the long run it is the quality of your product or content or whatever service you offer, that will determine success!

The thing with paying some people to post is that some people still post once they have finished their paid posting.

The thing that you could do is go with a paid posting server just to get a few posts in there and then once you have done that, do not ever do a paid posting service again, just go to a forums marketplace and try to find people in there and pay for them to do 15 - 20 posts each so that they get the feel of the forum and hopefully they will keep posting then once they have finished.
