Hi all..
Can anyone tell me what it will take to build a site like Guru.com?
I am interested in starting a website that matches freelance illustrators, cartoonists to employers. Wondering if this idea is practical…
Just doing some basic research on this idea now.
Thanks.
Dave

I currently do not have what you recommend yet...
But I do have good design skills, and a premium domain name that I would use for such a site.
Sketchpad.com
The DN has just been collecting dust for a time, and I want to put it to use again.

Then you're either going to need to study or have a big checking account.

Guru.com developed by ColdFusion. So you need programming knowledge.
There are hundreds of webmaster market place like guru out there. e.g. designoutpost.com

You don't have to have big checking account. All you should have some beer canes. Paul will do the rest.
Just kidding Paul.
