The question is in the title - are you happy with what you earn online?

If not, when will you be happy? Personally, I think I'll always be striving
for more. Not because I'm a capitalist pig-dog (although I am ), but
because income is a measure of success. The more income I have, the
more successful I can say I am.

Well I can't currently complain, it's paying my morgage and my nice cars

In the past I have been really pi**ed of with my earnings but after a lot of work its getting much better

I try not to think about my earnings. Doing so only drives a person to never be satisfied with what they make, which in turn leads them to working harder, longer hours. In the end, who wants to spend their entire life chasing what is most likely unreachable?

I used to measure success by how much money I made, but now I measure it based on the friends and good times in my life.

Earning could always be more.... just feel blessed that you get a chance to earn money online instead of working at Burger King.

lol - I completely agree on that one!

I put my time in at Chic-Fil-A during high school, and waited tables all through college (averaged about $25 an hour with tips, and met my wife who was also waiting tables... and continued to wait tables to help put me through engineering school )

Those are good experiences that help you work harder so that you don't end up having to fill those positions ever again.

As for my own satisfaction with my current earnings, I'm way ahead of where I wanted to be after planning out my goals for the year (in one month made 1/3 of what I made all last year on internet sales), but it could just be a lucky streak. So yes, I'm happy, but I'll be a lot happier when I reach my goal of being able to quit my day job.

In the meantime, I'm trying to stay focused on tasks that help me meet my goals, and avoiding those that get me nowhere (like checking stats every few minutes - a very hard habit to break!)

I define success by what my wife and child think of me. And to some degree they want a nice standard of living, but more important is if I use different voices in a bed-time story. I bring this up, because if the bubble bursts again, that shouldn't affect anybody's self worth. From what I can tell, most of the people on this site are really nice, friendly, more than willing to help someone out when it's needed. I'd have respect for most of these folks if they were millionaires or hobos.

I look at it this way: I make more in 16 hours with one client than most of my competition in the GTA does in a month. So I'm fine.

At this stage, I'd be happy just to be able to replace my job with an online equivalent. And no, my job doesnt pay me much..

good talking webplace...though i would still want to have a normal "offline" job.

Actually I'm not happy because my living expense more than my earning.
