lol - I completely agree on that one!
I put my time in at Chic-Fil-A during high school, and waited tables all through college (averaged about $25 an hour with tips, and met my wife who was also waiting tables... and continued to wait tables to help put me through engineering school  )
Those are good experiences that help you work harder so that you don't end up having to fill those positions ever again.
As for my own satisfaction with my current earnings, I'm way ahead of where I wanted to be after planning out my goals for the year (in one month made 1/3 of what I made all last year on internet sales), but it could just be a lucky streak. So yes, I'm happy, but I'll be a lot happier when I reach my goal of being able to quit my day job.
In the meantime, I'm trying to stay focused on tasks that help me meet my goals, and avoiding those that get me nowhere (like checking stats every few minutes - a very hard habit to break!)
