I have been reading up on this form of marketing. The CPM's (cost per thousand) that are offered for these pop unders is tremendously low. These companies claim to deliver 5,000 to 500,000 24hour unique visitors to a site within a month.

Has anyone ever tried using this type of marketing, and if so, what were your results and overall impressions. Any feedback will be appreciated.

I currently use advertyz.com. I get 100,000 unique U.S. hits for $77.00.
My counter says I'm getting the page loads, and it's a full page pop under.
Not sure what type of ad campaign they are effective on...

many people close the popup right away or have popup blockers. Its a good way to eat up bandwidth if you ask me.

Agreed popup affiliate programs are terrible. Most webmasters have google toolbar installed or some other popup blocker and many regular internet users have popup blockers.

all AOL users never see a popup and 60% of other people on the internet have popup blockers... there is a new way of getting traffic that is much more effective, and its not blocked by anything! I don't want to spam the boards so im not going to mention what it is but if you eMail me at kyle@webmastergoods.com i will let you in on it

Since most people do close the pop ups/pop unders without even looking you will have to have a very attractive page to keep them.

I offer unique targeted visits with a system that redirects traffic.

These are actual visits and not pop ups. However no matter what you use to get people to your site, its your sales copy, offers etc that will close the deal. I think a .5-1% return on this type of adverstising is average and is what most of my customers experience.

As always, great search engine ranking is the cheapest advertising.

Take a look at the main page and see if I can help in any way
