I came across some company called Navigation Catalyst Systems, while checking for a domain I was interested in. So far as I can tell, there isn't anything to the site they have up on the domain. Reading about what they do, they seem to be one of these companies that just takes parked domains, and slaps some stuff onto them, as to catch the incidental traffic revenue from clicks and such.

Are these companies on the up-and-up, or are the scam factories?

How do they catch incidental traffic revenue from clicks? Are they click-based Ads?

If so, the site would be a lame form of advertising, but advertising all the same. If someone clicks on the link, then it's performing its function. But I don't see a site like that making enough revenue from happen-stance traffic to even make it worth it. Sorry, but I don't really know if they are on the up-and-up. But my suggestion is, if you find yourself questioning something, you probably best stay out it.
