I recently came across this article while surfing a webmaster site.

Other reason is, when you advertise on this site, you get direct hyperlink to your website improving your rank in Search engines. Your ad stays permanently for 5 years. There is no limit on impressions and the number of clicks you receive. So, instead of advertising on other sites where they charge by impressions or clicks, people are choosing this one.

You may want to check out and see for yourself. It is worth looking at it. I have spent $100 to buy 100 pixels and so far it has been great. My ad is so small you won’t be even able to find it. Seriously speaking I saw the website and could not get a bit of this concept . Could someone throw some light on it.

and the funniest part is ... I checked the Alexa traffic rank for two websites of the same type and found that they are ranked very low in Alexa Traffic Rank. Although Alexa is not very reliable as far as traffic details are concerned , but they give a rough idea . Moreover the page rank of both these sitesis 0 ? Now hows that ?

Sorry for so many successive posts but another thing that i noticed right now is that all the sites that hve bought pixels have a page rank 3 .... Somethin strange...

There's probably low page rank because the site is new and hasn't had a lot of time to develop links from other sites.

The concept is that you buy pixels on the website for advertising your own website. More pixels, the bigger of an ad you have and the more money the guy who's running the site makes.
