Okay. So I go to Google and do a search on "gambling". I come up with "www.gambling.com" as the first site on the list. Third (after an anti-gambling site) is "www.888.com".
My first impression is that those two sites have a style very similar to real casinos. Face cards, slot machine images, dice, flashing lights - the Works! Your site looks pretty bland by comparison.
Looks aside, you may want to check the keywords your competition is using. Maybe you can get some ideas.....
FYI, you say you've got 450 linkbacks. I tried a link check in Google and AllTheWeb. Total, assuming no duplicates, is less than 200. Add in AltaVista (still assuming no duplicates), you've still got less than 400. (Just thought you might want to know.)
As far as your ranking is concerned, does it really matter what your page rank is? Isn't it much more important to get hits and conversions of whatever sort you're looking for?
What you should be checking into is where your site ranks for your various keywords. If your site isn't showing up in the first three pages, it's going to have a definite affect on the number of visitors coming to your site.
Seems to me you need to concentrate on improving your standing with the major search engines. The higher you appear, the more visitors your should get to your site.
HTH!
