I forgot to go back.

But boy, getting articles published makes a difference, too.

My site traffic is not quite three times what it was when you told me about this stuff.

Those first days the traffic was from the crawlers, I know that now. But it was a sign of things to come.

I'm trying to get a forum up... and boy it's hard ... at phpBB most people had it up and running in an hour.

I'm hard at it in my second day, and I'm not giving up, but I'm not real close yet, either.

When I finish, then people will look at it and say it proves I don't have a disability or brain damage. Ha!

Though it's not really funny. It just increases the disadvantage I'm at.

Great list! I will have to bookmark this and return when I have more time submitting to web directories.

I would also say that I am also accepting free submissions to my UK web Directory. Only UK websites are allowed though. Other sites will be declined.

This will not be free forever so get in quick as sites in the future will need to reciprocate back to us.

Does that mean you only accept .co.uk domains or are you having to do a whois lookup for every site submitted?

All but one of my sites are .coms

Hi,

We only accept sites that are to do with the UK. If it has a co.uk domain name and the site is also about the UK then it will be accepted.

If the site is to do with the UK and has a .com domain then it will still be approved.

As longs as the site itself is to due with the UK then it should be alright.

Just to let you know - I've redesigned the site, chopping many useless directories from the list and adding a few new ones along the way.

The directory list can now be sorted according to the PR value of the directory's home page, aiding those with only a small amount of time to spare.

Hi Orin, On my site I maintain lists of free, paid and I niche directories. I have no intention of covering reciprocal directories because, in my experience, they generally offer very little value to the submitter.

That's what I have in concern too. Some lists I found on the web includes reciprocal directories which I think does not have as much value in them. Thanks once again for compiling the list.

Phew, i just spent a few days submitting both of my sites to about 80 or 90 of the directories on that list that were new to me, i love working my way through lists like that, i wonder, does anyone else have any more lists of directories or search engines?
