What is the best email advertising platform?

Hi,
I currently use mailchimp.com which is a decent email advertising platform, but it limits you to 500 users.
I can get more if I pay them, but would like to know if there is any other good ones out there.

no i think mailchimp is the good software as i have used it just go for higher package and u will be satisfied with them

I think social networking sites are also good for email marketing.

Are you specifically looking to use your own email address list or does it matter? If you don't mind using someone else's list, Majon(dot)com has some decent packages.
