Press Releases?

Does anyone have any good advice about creating press releases? This is something I've not tried yet, but I am thinking about it.

I feel like a total newb by asking this (

), but who do I submit them to? Is it free? Are there PR companies that are good to work with?

Actually, you can do it on your own...write it straightforwardly. It should be worthy for someone to read on your press release and the information that you write is intended for the audience.

yeah. you can do it on your own. then submit them to Press release submission sites just like article submissions

press releases are a great way to make people know if you have a new site, a new product or service, or there has been changes made for your site. press releases are one of the cheap ways to advertise, well, what you can add to that is also consider sending some pieces to magazines or publishing houses, there are some magazines who posts interesting and quality PR article.s

Press release can be tough to do but you can always have your first time. You can get the hang out of it in the long run.

certainly press release is a good way to promote links but these are highly profession sites and the contents submitted should be very professional and original. If you try to give fake information, you may get banned or you content will not approve

So follow instructions and work patiently.

Actually press releases are for if you have something useful or interesting to tell people about.

Once you start using them to tell everybody about what you had for lunch yesterday they lose any effectivness they had as they become just another piece of useless information to waste time reading.

Agreed. People seem to get Press Release and Blogs mixed up (or so I've noticed).

You don't need to hire someone. Writing press releases is easy. You just need to make it catchy. A PR is supposed to call attention.

You should have some news for writing a press release.it may be an event news and new product or services related news.

I personally believe that a press release should be authentic and real...

I usually submit to like 10-20 free press release sites to get a few backlinks to help jump start a site. If you have the money submitting to one paid site can help too.

if you are not much of a writer then it may be hard to acquire traffic from these sites, try to hire someone to write for you so what you will need to do is submit them to PR directories..

It is stupid tricks like this that does makes press releases useless for the people who KNOW HOW TO USE THEM PROPERLY!!!!!!
