I'm already doing link building but list building is new to me and I want also to touch this technique. Can anyone tell me its nature and how to do it properly?

List building is the process of generating a list of email addresses for use in email campaigns. Is far different from link building; wherein list building is more on marketing aspect while link building deals more on PR and SERP.
