My website http://healthy-ojas.com was started on September 2008, almost 10 months completed. The web site is about diseases (diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, eye defects and sleep disorders) and its treatment by modern and alternative medicine. The site has more than 200 pages, home page has page rank of 3 and Alexa ranking is 5 lack 50 thousand. But I am receiving only 35 visitors per day.

I am struggling to increase the population, page rank, popularity and request your valuable advice and guidelines.

Hi

what kind of keywords are you using? Can you find yourself under "blood pressure", "eye defects" etc. If you aren't utilizing your keywords, people aren't going to find you.

Increasing the amount of pages is not going to lead to you getting more visitors. You need to start getting backlinks to the pages so that they move up the search engines. Without the backlinks, you will not see any increase in visitors because you will not be positioned well for keywords that are relevant to your website.

Do more online activity....write blogs, bookmarks and do some link exchanges which will increase your Backlinks. So you can drive a good number of visitors. Use good keywords.

I suggest you stop all promotional activity and focus on your content, because, to be frank, it's appalingly bad. Nothing can be done for this site until you elevate it to the heights of at least the mediocre.

But I suspect you won't even read this helpful advice as your post is nothing but an - ironically - ineffective link drop.

Talkupation added.

Hello thiruvelan,

Maybe you do some article marketing perhaps. Submit your content to article directory sites and a little bit of social bookmarking too. These two strategies helped increase my Alexa ranking in no time.

Cheers

Emma

You can not get more visitor just in one month for that you need to wait for some time.
And also do not stop your SEO work. Keep it continue after some time you may get good visitor to your site.

Hmm, Seo is one thing but you can't just depends on search engines to get your traffic. You should also use facebook, twitter and various of online channels such as article marketing as well. But your keywords seem are very general to get to the top of search engines you need much more effort than just 2xx links according to Yahoo.

Should the correct English be "Disease and Its Treatment" or "Diseases and Their Treatments"

That's the first of many corrections that won't be made.

the keywords appear to be quite strong , but if they have less competition (in case you are using long tail keywords) then it is a very good opportunity. Getting backlinks from blogs and forums in the same niche should give an increase in traffic. Good content is the key .

The first thing I would do is get somebody to proof read your English.
Second, make it look a bit more professional.
Third, contribute to forums and so on. Don't be passive. Be active
and you will attract links.
