If you're looking for directories to submit to, here's a 'tested' list that I use:

It hasn't been updated in a couple of months, but each directory on there should be pretty good or better still. You could also search Google for a list, but be sure that it's up to date, and try only to use a list where the directories have actually been tested... it's a waste of time to submit articles to dead directories, or directories that might as well be dead for all the exposure that they offer.

Yes, we are a web development and internet marketing company and we have a list of about 1,000 (roughly) article submission directories and we have a team of 11 people that we submit through manually.

We prefer manual submission over automated submission because some directories will actually not accept automated submissions and you get a better approval rate when it comes to manual submissions.

It is still more advisable to go on manual submissions rather than using various submission tools. You could guarantee good results from manual submissions because some tools are not 100% reliable and effective, it's just a waste of money, time and effort.

But I'm using automatic submission and it really works well.
So better choose or look an automatic article submitter that provides a good quality.

Manual article submission is the best, but it will take you a lot of time. Ezinearticles.com is my favorite place to post articles because of the high search rankings!

As I always say, I use a software called article submitter by brad callen it's easy to use. Why not take a time to look at it.

manual submission of articles is good i think. I doubt whether the tools give good results.

I also do manual submissions. I do get more amount of quality of back links compared to automated.

you should go manually to submit articles in article directories... article directories will need some information to you..

just submit your article in maximum 10 important article directories.....

ezine articles and dashboard are famous article directories.......

now i'm enlightened... i do automated but when i read this, i'll do this manually now. can someone give me a lists of article submission site?
