Apparently, Yahoo Buzz, Yahoo's version of Digg is now accepting submissions from all sites instead of just a select few publishers. The most popular submissions get featured on Yahoo's homepage. Be warned, though, if you get on the Yahoo front page, your server will probably implode from the amount of traffic you receive. You can read about it here or submit a new story here.

Hummm....

Interesting. It will be fun to see how they do against digg. Yahoo still has a lot of users so it might just work...

just a precision before spammers run to the website:

They use the nofollow attribute. You won't get any backlinks.

Unfortunately all of their links are nofollow so you don't get any backlinks out of it, great for traffic though.

not if you have something interesting to share.

For the purpose of pure blind submission, yeah, probably.

I guess that's what Digg is for? Seeing as how providing interesting and useful content is what made them successful, I think Yahoo will be able to compete in that sphere.
