How do you do it? What sites do you use?

How are you driving traffic to your site? Paid advertising? Free advertising? A combination of both?

Thanks.

I earn a decent income online, but not just from my sites (which will earn under $30k overall this year). Most of my income instead comes from the services I offer online (business and PR writing and PR consulting). My big move in 2008 is actually to cut back on services and push the Web publishing side with my existing sites and a few new ones. So I'll be worrying much more about monetizing them in the new year. I get most of my traffic through PR efforts (since it's my expertise) like press releases, features, interviews, quality information, pitch letters, etc.

I promised myself that I would make money online without spending any money. Except for my webhosting and domain of course. I don't get rich from what I do but I make a pretty nice income. I use all fere methods of advertising. forums, etc.

I'd love to hear more about how you got started in this. I have a strong background in writing, and have done lots of technical type writing too.

$30 k is good! But you should strive higher...its not that hard.

I wont brag but my online income is alot more why...i went from 10k....to 20k

then i put in place things that doubled that ....

then I decided to sell a homestudy pack and then I doubled that again.

so I think you are cutting yourself short...try to challenge yourself to make more. those are the secrets to building a multi million dollar empire.

the small things i have added to my online businesses are normally the ones that add lots of money per month. It really is that simple.

I am like that too. I earn a fair bit of money online but majority of it comes from selling our services, we do also sell electronics books and DVDs but they make up a small % of our income.

30k isn't my "online income." It's only my "blog income," which is what the OP was asking for. Like I said, most of my income comes from services (although I'm hoping to reverse the two sides this year or next).

The best thing about making money online is getting up on Saturday or Sunday, checking your email and seeing someone bought something from your store/site while you were sleeping

What types of sites are you using to earn $30k? Is the income from a product/service or from advertising? I'd really like to hear more about what you do.

Thanks.
