Yup, they are filtering urls hardcore. My myspace website is blacklisted, if you try and send a bulletin with a clickable link your account gets a phished message and locks down until you reset your password.

I havent had any issues with messages or comments tho, but they are cracking down.

The main reason for this is for people who are using phished lists, if a certain url keeps showing up then its blacklisted and anytime a users posts a clickable link their account gets shutdown.

Really I'm surprised it took them this long to implement this feature, sucks if you phish but there are ways around it...just gotta do your research.

Just buy a domain and 301 it

looks like myspace added capthas to messaging now. so the message yourself for a captha bypass is now dead

so where has really cheap domains?

It doesn't matter if it's a redirect or not, eventually you get the phishing warning... which is easy enough to just change your password, get a new redirect and move on.... but it's becoming a pain...

To make it even more enjoyable... look at the silly profile that sends you a message when you get the "you've been phished by evil spammers" message from Tom - it's like the myspace patrol - I got a huge kick outtta that

i have found that even if you change the password after the "you've been phished" it's not long before that account gets deleted if you continue to comment. it's like it puts it on the radar.
