post heaps of good quality comments on other peoples blogs, or their high traffic blogs (use alexa to find out) as long as they are somehow related to your niche.

This has been a proven traffic source.

Content is the most important thing that will increase your traffic. Interesting posts makes people want to come back more and more. Although, sometimes it's better to have a blog specifically to stick with one topic. This is why I have a personal blog, and a bussiness blog. Keeps things more organized

amen to that..just try it....it works a treat.

even if you go and research find lots of good information for everywhere and put your own spin on it....be careful not to plagerise and you have a winner.

Good tip. I also recommend posting comments on related blogs, forums and in social websites to get decent traffic at first and then increasing.
