I have got some good traffic if you add something funny and releate it to something in marketing....I got 2500 uniques on reddit in one day....and it took me like 10 mintues to set up....magic!

I like all the ideas... Except there is one major problem.

Here are some of the "just do it" lines that definitely can use some detailed, procedural or project oriented definitions.

• just get links from high PR sites
• just submit to article sites
• just get a lot of digg/stumbleupon/reddit/del.icio.us
• just write unique content
• just find the right keywords
• just optimize for the right keyword
• just create some podcasts/vidcasts

ad infinitum...

ways :
1. submit your site to search engines
2. join related forums and be active
3. exchange links with higher ranked blogs
4. write comments on other blogs
5. worth of mouth

those information can really help those site owner with zero budget..
I usually do those things for me to be able to increase the traffic of my sites..

squidoo.com is a great tool for traffic now. If you market about a long tail keyword, build a squidoo lens page and if there's not too much competition, you'll be on the 1st page on google in one week. No kidding. :yes:

there are many way but need to have time and time is money so that mean you are investing money no matter, what and how you do to save money.

For me personally if I had to pick just 1 method, I would go with article writing and keep at it!

Seriously, if you have a good site, stumble/digg/propeller/etc your best articles... the results can be crazy.

By stumbling 1 blog post on a small blog, I went from 10 uniques per day to 5,000 per day in 2 days.

It didn't stay like that, but it gave it a good step up so that it got out of that bottom rut... and earned me like 200 feed subscribers.
