Not yet, but I plan on doing so soon. I'm going to purchase some "highly targeted traffic" from pop-unders and see how it goes.

To my opinion this is a 'no go' and a sign of short sight.
Sure it will bring in good money in the beginning, but I think you'll scare away your visitors and it will turn against you in the long run..

(IMO) It can work wonders depending on how you do it, how aggressive you are with it and if you are or are not breaking any T’s& C’s of the affiliate programs you’re in.

I think the idea here is not displaying the ads on your own site, but purchasing ad space and having your site "pop up" on other peoples websites.

-----------------------------------

I am not sure what the average cost is for something like this, but I can say that for the ads that I run on my sites, the CTR of these ads are 300-400% higher than typical CPM ads. Now, the question there is how many people are accidentaly clicking on that ad and going to your site when all they were trying to do is simply get rid of the ad?

In my opinion pop-up advertising is not good. Since pop ups are annoying i personally use to close the pop up window immidiately when it appears. So i belive other people also do same.

Whatever you do, don't try Clicksor, they're horrid.

I doubt I'll ever use any sort of pop ads, my visitors would hate them.
