OK first of all I want to say great idea for this forum. Next you should get a coffee and pull up a seat cause I am about to spill the beans on how I fired the boss just over two years ago.

Many people in the forum know me, but not my story.

I was working as a stockbroker two years ago, when i went to a internet seminar and went home (very eager) an started to adapt and develop small Ideas that I got from the seminar. I couldn't believe my first sale, I wanted to go and dance in the streets naked....thats how excited it was. I thought "****, old chap, I think we have a winner here!" So once I got home from my job I spent many hours just plugging away, developing smaller ebooks and vids that helped people in my few niches.

Also I think the key to any business is having a list....(can't stress that enough) When the gurus say, You need to build a list they aren't pulling your leg! Creating a relationship with a list of people no matter how big is so good you can retire on this, I promise. The MONEY is in the list!!!!.

You can make sales while building a list too. I.e. once people subscribe you can start preselling them, I.e. they won't buy but they are obviously interested so you can do the soft sell. I did this plain and simply by having good content, and sending a series of 10 emails with the first few chapters of my book paraphrased. Holy smoke! I was finding 42% of these people ended up buying the book and other stuff I promoted at the end of this presell series. MORE MONEY! WOW!

Anyway, I kept building my lists and got people buying all sorts of products. I though Ok im selling these $27 ebooks, how can I upsell them and makem more. So I got an idea to start following up the people that bought. I gave them how to do certain activities in the ebook. But I though what if I sold a membership for like $50 a month and show them how to (actually ) do it in video. Well wow! my life changed I went from $1,500 a month to like $8,000 all on autopilot each month without much effort at all. I got people on my list (mostly the buyers) to become what I called on the vemon membership (which litteraly showed them how to make money step by step). This is when i told the boss to shove it and I went full time. NEVER LOOKED BACK FROM THAT DAY!

I now have sold two of my businesses and made great money from that.A Hot topic at the moment is flipping websites. I.e buying a website, doing it up and then selling it. Remember its not just some money making website, its a business and you should treat it like that. That will ensure you succeed on all levels.

I now bring in great money with my list, still make money selling ebooks. And with my list and other fingers in the pie, over 12k each and every month. So thats alot better than my 55k package as a broker. I say this not to brag but to tell people that it is truly a reachable goal. I truly love this lifestyle and with a little bit of hard work anyone can do this.

This is the development process I use to make sure I succeed every time.

- Get ideas

- Do some solid market research

- Get domain

- organize hosting

- Organize website graphics

- Set up pre-lauch and develop product

- Organize sales process.

- Organize payment process and payment collection methods

- Get affiliates on board ready for launch

- Set up autoresponder series

- launch product /s

BUT WAIT.....THERE'S MORE!!! HERE'S.....

My 7 deadly secrets to my success :-

1) Build that list! (TRUST ME THIS IS KING!...BUILD IT...AND ADD TO IT!)

2) Have a good market! (If you sell what people aren't buying then your waisting your time....This is crutial to my success)

3) Have a good offer! without an offer, then you are not giving value.

4) GENERATE MASSIVE TRAFFIC! traffic is the lifeblood of the internet. Without it you fail. The more traffic you can generate the better.

5) Pay for some advertising! Yes sometimes it takes money to make money. I learnt the hard way but this can really make a difference. I used (PPC, Pressreleases, banner ads on high traffic sites etc etc etc)

6) If you are not preselling your are losing money! I love preselling and have made 10's of thousands from this in the last year alone. Sometimes it will only take 20 mintues to set up but can make you lots of money!

7) CONTENT IS KING! if you give lame or out of date information, prepare to go broke and make no sales. Give people the best info and everyone will talk about your product.

There you go. Hope you got some really nice inside info in there.

If you focus and treat your business like a real business then you will succeed beyond your wildest dreams.

Better be careful what you wish for, cause you just may get it.

Cheers.

p.s. I guarantee anyone who follows even some of this info will make money, but shhhhh I didn't tell you that ok

Just wondering if you could've kept your job and continued to make money online...? I mean, did you really have to quit your job?

Wow! I think I came to the right site! First of all, congratulations. Secondly, please help me!! I am a newbie starting up my first site selling my first ebook and have hit a roadblock. I have everything lined out but can't figure out how to automatically send my customers to the download page after they have successfully paid for the book with a valid credit card. Any and help or instruction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
