I recently discovered that the website I've created for the band I'm in (http://niroth.da.ru), does not view as I intend it to in certain browsers (It was designed in notepad with IE5.5 as a reference).

I think this is due to innappropriate/clumsy use of code, but am unsure as to which more conventional methods could provide an alternative.

Specifically, I want to sort out the text formatting, so it appears the same in all browsers & find a better, 'cleaner' way of creating a box/border around the body of the page. Any other criticism or advice would also be welcome...

Cheers

Jack

I tried to go to the url around 5pm EST on Saturday(22nd) but the page was not found. Without looking at the code however I can suggest the use of CSS (style sheets) to handle your text formatting issue. CSS is the only way that I know of to "force" the browser to display eveything as you specify it. CSS can also be used for a number of other things including the box/border around your page that you mentioned.
