Im trying to have a picture open up in a new window, and a sized one at that... The exact size as the picture. Im using the _blank code and its just opening it up in a new tab in fire fox.

You'll want to use JavaScript's window.open function so you can control the window size.

Thats really cool, i could use that for a few projects, but it seems pretty slow? Is it just me? Is it working fast for anyone else?

There are many options to LightBox, and many variations on the web. One of those options is the window open speed.
