I've always struglled by not finding something equivalent to firebug to internet explorer, but today, I've found webDevHelper:
http://projects.nikhilk.net/Projects/WebDevHelper.aspx

xmlHttpRequests inspection, dom inspector, javascript debugger, it's all I ever wanted to find for ie.

I'm sharing this with you guys, hoping that it will be helpful to you too.

Or, use the Developer Toolbar from MS - has a DOM explorer that's extremely helpful. http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2005/09/16/469686.aspx
Works for IE 6 and IE 6.

yes, but this toolbar is for debugging.

The MS toolbar is so oriented to help the analyze of the structure of a page, that's it's almost useless for anything else.
What I liked in this one, is that everything is kept under one hood.

No more ms script debugger (which crash every 2 launches) nor crappy alert() calls in js.
Yay !

Not at all, far from it ! If you've got a CSS problem, the IE Dev Toolbar can be a lifesaver.

If you're not doing any scripting, then the DOM inspector is enough.

Yes, that's what I meant.

I'm doing 95% javascript/php/xml programmation. I need more a javascript debugger than a dom inspector.

In that view, the ms toolbar is useless to me.
