I've tried to find some information on this, and thought I had it right as far as the stylesheet, but for some reason my background image, which is supposed to repeat vertically, is not displaying in Safari.

It's displaying fine in FF and IE, but in Safari the repeating background image under the navigational menu is not being displayed. I have tried putting the "background="images/whatever.jpg" in the actual td tag, which is how I had it originally, worked fine in IE and FF, but still not in Safari. Then I tried putting the image instead of the   but that didn't work either. I'm really not sure what else to do! Thank you to anyone who can help!

I did check that... not seeing anything that's applicable though.

Thank you for your help. I did find a temporary workaround, by putting line breaks in forcing the image to repeat.
