I set up a local network for a dozen of computers. I'm using a client/server to run a web page on all clients instead of the desktop with links running all the software. But each time someone clicks on a link they get the File Download message box (OPEN, SAVE, CANCEL and MORE INFO). Sure I can run the file by clicking OPEN, but many customers click SAVE and sometimes overwrite my *.exe files with *.lnk files. I tried to edit the registry to turn the **** pop up screen off but with no success. Someone told me there is a HTML or JAVA code to put in a webpage so that this screen si bypassed. HOW DO I TURN IT OFF!!! Thanks ahead

I think I saw an activeX control that does what you want, but I can't remember where. I'll subscribe to this thread and see if I can't find that again.
