I'm setting up a site that is basically a business directory - all mechanics on one page called mechanics.html all pubs on another etc - are there any search scripts I could integrate into the site to search these pages and get a link to an anchor point on the correct page?

Results would need to be customised into the scheme of the site too - anyone able to help please?

I wanted to use something like http://www.applytools.com/applyLiveSpider.html but I cant get the script working - know of any others like it?

most directory scripts have a search capability.

Other than that, what server side code is your host server capable of?

i'm not using a directory script - well unless theres one which allows for different levels of subscription and it template driven - im setting up this site on minimal costs - free web host and scripts etc as i'm skint
