I've got a mouseover going on and it works OK in IE and it works in Firefox too.

My problem is that when I click the link and go to the next page, and then I press the back arrow, there is a rectangular box around the button.

Is there anyway to get rid of this? IE handles it fine and looks good....

Any ideas?

What is the url of your site or testing site? need this before anyone can fix your problem.

try to style that button as border:0px; padding and margins, you may have something set for your VISTED links so that image is chainging its state to visited. but yeah send the link so we can tak ea clser look and try to understand better

Actually, its for ALL my links, even the simple text ones.
When firefox follows the link and I press the <- backarrow, then the link has a rectangular box around it. Thats the case for all links.

It would still be easier if you'd show us a link or your code.
