First let me say hello I am new here...HELLO!

Ok I had this working fine but re-did my page and now it does not work. Total new page nothing copied from old.

I have a small .swf movie that I want the viewer to be able to click a .swf button to start and stop the file.

I make the buttons in DreamWeaver
I insert the .swf file into the page
I name the movie
I goto Control Shockwave or Flash in the Behaviors window
I select the movie and select play and redo the same for stop

F12 to test, upload to test, the buttons do not start and stop the movie. I can right click on the movie and click play and it works....


Please help.

Ok I just changed out the flash Start & Stop buttons for .jpg buttons and everything works.

I had something to do with the flash buttons?

in Firefox it doesn't work (start and stop)

In IE works.

I think that You must do control buttons in Flash, also and add some ActionScript code. It's better.

Just find something on google about it (flash movie control)
