Hi as you can see im a not very experienced in the internet department but i have a question regarding stat counter http://www.statcounter.com

I have a stat counter code installed on my site, it records my stats reliably and the built in counter (from my host) both show the same amount of views every day BUT

Today stat counter recorded 0 views but my hosts counter says 142, why is this happening???

All statistics packages have different ways of recording things so it's common to see them show different results. I have 3 or 4 different stats packages and none ever shows the same thing as any other.

However I would think that stat counter while being different from the hosts counter would still show something. I'm thinking if you're still showing 0 then something might have gotten messed up in the code you added to your page for statcounter or maybe it was just a problem on their end.
