HTML/CSS/Javascript interaction problem?

I have a site, http://www.startsphere.com, which is both CSS and HTML. I decided to sign up for google adsense to get some money off of clicks. I ran into a problem as soon as i put the ads onto it.

first of all, when i put any type of adsense ad, be it referral or just a regular content one, as soon as i put it on and previewed it in DreamWeaver and on the actual web, the whole website became distorted and taken apart. part of it was stretched out, then another part of it was up top (it was supposed to be on the side) and then pushed the part that was supposed to be on top down, and etc. I could keep going, with all that happened, but ill stop.

Does anyone know why this happened, and anyway I can fix this problem? If source code from my site is requested I'll give it (should be easy to get anyways). Any other questions about placement of the ads will also be answered. If anyone figures out why and a solution to my problem, I will add talkupation points.

If you didn't alter the google code, it should work. It would be impossible for anyone to help unless we know where, in your code, you were trying to put the ads, and which ads you were using. I'm assuming you wanted it on the left at the bottom. I don't know why the tower wouldn't fit there unless your code was disrupting it.

I tried posting it in several spots. The two below are just examples of where i tried putting it. Basically i put it after each table containing the hosts, in the little currently gray area between each one. Below is just a little peice of the code so this page dusnt get too long. I tried putting the hosrizontal text ones.

Guys, i fixed it!
In my code in the beginning i had
Quote:
<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
function MM_displayStatusMsg(msgStr) {
status=msgStr;
document.MM_returnValue = true;
}
Then i realized as i looked through it and compared it to other javascripts, that all had a "//-->" so i added that and made it be
Quote:
<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
function MM_displayStatusMsg(msgStr) {
status=msgStr;
document.MM_returnValue = true;
//-->
}
That fixed it. Hope this helps to anyone if you have the same problem
