I needed a site store locator for 2 different clients and after doing a lot of searching, found Brightwing which has worked out well for me - it's very inexpensive and it updates the maps with new location dots each time I add a new locations list. It lets you custom design it to match your site design (yay!) and you don't need to have the company set anything up for you. Anyway, if you don't want to host a whole (expensive) zipcode database or write the scripts to run it, this is the best system I have found - the customers I have love how professional it looks and it has been increasing their business (and lessening their endless phonecalls of "where can I find a store near me") noticeably. You can see it work at http://www.brightwing.com Just a heads-up in case anyone needs something like this.

Wanda,
This is just want I am looking for! I was looking into a store locator run on DotNetNuke but I dont know anything about dnn and the company with teh store locator (Cutopia) is hard to get ahold of. I am going to check into your suggestion.
I am the new developer for a Party Supply corporation and we opperate under two different names. One is a perminate name and one is a seasonal name. So I need to have a store locator to handle both sites and be able to edit the data easily.

I am clueless when it comes to php so if I can avoid that I am happy.
Was this store locator idiot proof or what type of knowledge is required?
