I have done a search in this forum – and it doesn’t look like anyone has asked this question..

How do I force a page to reload if it’s been updated? I don’t want it to reload every time a user access a new page just when that page has been updated..

Thanks

Page reloads are controlled on both the server and client end. The pages should reload on the server every time you update them. The problem occurs if a person is on the website page that you just updated and doesn't get the new version because the old version has already been sent to their browser. You can use javascript and meta tags to automatically reload the page at certain intervals, and then update accordingly.

To do this check out this link: http://grizzlyweb.com/webmaster/java...h.asp#version2

Hope that helps!
