I have noticed that cetain site that are high in search engine ramkings use this symbol why and what does it do

& Address

The amp bit does not app visable on the site page

Thanks The only reason I asked is that I have noticed the symbol on one or two quite high ranking sites and wondered if this was part of the optermisation technics. I am looking for any help to optermise my site but can't afford to pay the kind of money these people ask.

A good tip is too use alot of relevent keywords in the title and first paragraph. try and keep your content above the navigation in the sorce code.

yeah submit your site too as many directories as you can shake a stick at! All the extra links will help convince a search engine that your site is worth checking out! Try and swap links with as many webmaster as you can... I don't know much about SEO so i cant really help you out but im sure lots of ppl jhere wil gladly give u a nudge in the right direction
