Hi,
So, how to I make a whole page in my website "no follow" for links?
I am going to make a links page just for search engines and want a nofollow on all of them. But I think having the whole page set to no follow would be easier.
Thanks

Huh, I know I'm crap at coding, but wouldn't google index it but not attribute any power to the outgoing links, ie if it is true google doesn't follow when there is a nofollow, it wouldn't follow the links but the page would still be crawled, indexed and if enough inlinks given page rank.
noindex would stop it being indexed?

"no index" means "do not list the page in the organic or personal search engine". If you use "no index" on a home page, that will bring robots to a screeching halt, as I understand it. If that is the desire of the web designer, great. If "no index" is used on subsequent pages, there will be no effect on any page but that one.

Am I wrong, Chris?

Theoretically that would be the case BUT as the SEs HAVE to partially index the page to see if they are allowed to index it or not.

HOWEVER as the "home" page is not necessarily the "starting point" for SEs to index a site it will NOT mean the entire site will not be indexed, only the "home" page content will not shown in the SERP.
