Can anyone explain to me how can i insert an icon of facebook and twitter
on my website ?

Be warned, icons like that of Facebook and twitter are copyright, and they would be very protective of their logos and icons.

very much so if those icons make the surfer think that there is some official link with their website, when there is in fact nothing.

You can search for more beautiful icons in google, designer blogs.

paypal lets you use their logo.

In your paypal account, there should be an option of what kind of icon you would like.

Paypal has a variety of options for non profits, businesses, ebay, etc.

Just copy the code and paste that sucker on your web page.

But he is not asking for the favicon..
I Think it can confuse him. Its just my opinion.
