hello

i need help.

i'm trying desperately to put an email submission form on my site. i've tried the mailto technique but all i get is this message opening up (i changed the address obviously):


<my-outlook-default-email@mail.com>: Sender address rejected: NO SPAM/VIRUS

i've also dabbled with asp which is beyond my depths of web knowledge and of course that didn"t work either.

does anyone know why the above message is appearing and how i can build this really simple form i thought even i was capable of doing?!

Are you able to run cgi or php scripts on your host?

not 100% sure about about my serever running cgi etc, but i think it does.

in any case i'd rather try and solve the mailto problem

You will not find many people willing to send an email just to see if someones script works, especially when it is a simple mailto function.

I have had a look at your script and all looks ok, apart from the clickable contact link adds no subject to the email client. If you try and send an email with no subject it may be binned for spam / virus issues.
