Okay so ive got this site that i made in dreamweaver for my music. I made it using frames to put a navbar on the left, and another little dealy at the top. Now my question is can i fix the entire browser window when people are at my site to a certain size (including all the frame windows) or can you not do that with frames. It sounds obnoxious but in this particular case it would improve the way the site looks by a great degree on most computers. Id appreciate any help you guys can offer, thanks in advance.

well, set the size of frames, what's a problem??? or you may put it all into table with desired width...

bah i have no flippin idea to explain what i need lol ****. hmm. this is my site http://www.virulencemusic.com

i want to make it so the browser window only loads at 1024x768. because on my display where that is my resolution the site looks great and fits nicely to my screen. but on lots of other big displays it looks bad because theres a lot of empty space. so yeah.

<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
window.moveTo(0,0);
window.resizeTo(1024,768);
//-->
</script>

Remember that not everybody has their monitor set to 1024x768, and even if they do, they probably won't appreciate their window being resized. Instead of using this script, I recommend you learn how to make a site that looks good on different resolutions without the need for scripts of this nature.

All I can think of is that your browser's security settings have JavaScript (or at least the commands used) disabled for pages not on your local machine. Check your preferences.

Could you provide the URL of the page so I could take a look?
