I would like to have a Windows Media Player that would play random videos on my site. Is it possible to do this? The videos are in different folders.

When you say "random" I take it you mean every time a user visits the page, it plays a random song? Or do you mean when clicking a next button it "shuffles" the playlist?

Either or would work for me, but the simpler the better, ya know? Scripting is about as confusing as trying to read ancient Greek. However, that almost looks like it would work. I am assuming that where it says

playlist[2] = '3.wmv'
playlist[3] = '4.wmv'
I would include the full url to the files, including which folder they are in, and it won't matter if they are in different directories?

Rolda, I will do some testing, but I don't exactly know how to pull all this together. Right now, I am encoding an individual windows media video onto a blank web page, then call that page into an i frame. Yeah, it's crude but it works.

Ok, I have the randomMovie.js done, but how do I use the function renderMovie(){
? Do I simply place it where I used to have the emedded player?
