Hey Im new to the forum (as well as web design... )

I wanted to know what are some good books that I can get for design as well as coding

I have a couple of books published by O'Reilly (In a nutshell books... they are awsome )

but I don't have any design books... and I also wanna lern what PHP is about.

Graphics... and PHP but mostly graphics

books wont help you with designing a website. Start messing around in photoshop and do the tutorials.

php - buy a book - PHP5 and MySQL Bible is a good one

well yes I know... but I would like to have some type of reference or some sort of insperation...

PHP is a very powerful server-side language. I'd recommend learning it after you get a good handle on HTML and CSS.
