Im trying to reduce the amount of images on the site. Besides using gifs is cheating, i want them in pure css.

Looks like css v 3 facilitates them (maybee) till then im trying to hack one, with very little success.

hehe. I was only messin. No way yet other than Images and a bit of table vectoring...

I would like that too. Something what you could position the four corners and also to smoothen the curves too.

Until that day, brick CSS buttons will have to do I'm afraid.

Morphius2 - because with gifs, it takes up space and time to d/l them. CSS doesn't have this problem what ibbo is trying to do is create a pure html/css/js(maybe). if you don't need to use images it speeds the download time of the site

Thats right, I have a lot of images on the site as it is, we advertise and promote golf clubs, needless to say they have some large images they want on the pages (much to my dismay).

I can get by with 2 images and just impose text onto them. But an image free navigation system would be to my liking.

Thanks wenslock-
So it's not like an actual "rule" not to use gifs for spacing and the sort if you have a relatively image free site, right? If you have a good download time for dialup per page anyway, no need to stress about it, huh?
