Hi All -

Round-up of posts so far:
  • Notepad ++ seems to have the most votes... but is it cross platform?
  • There was a mention of HTML Kit -- is it open source and cross platform? Anyone have a link?
  • Dreamweaver is definitely not Open Source (free), but many love it.
Thanks for your thoughts and comments.

Yours -
Scott

I wish BBedit was a windows app That's kinda off the subject here though. Notepad++ would be perfect if it had the capability to set up "Sites" like Dreamweaver.

I love that I can see and work with only the files I want to.

I am learning design and as far as usability goes Notepad++ is so easy to use.
I hate Dreamweaver.

Well, Dreamweaver isn't opensource software, but, providing you can pay for it, Dreamweaver is one of the best to use, so it got my vote!
