It's been a long time since I've done any HTML. In fact, the last time was in the late 90s, so I need to update my knowledge. I've spent the past couple of weeks at the W3C schools site, and although I've upgraded quite a bit of the scripting in my brain, I've got a long way to go.

I was in the middle of building a website, using whatI thought was correct HTML. Then, I found out that although my site was unique in appearance and navigation, that the markup was nowhere close to W3C standards.

I'm looking for a discussion forum, where I can ask questions about easier ways of updating the language from HTML to XHTML, and better layouts than frames. I've deleted the entire site I was working on, but I can easily get it back up if anybody is interested.

So, if this is the appropriate forum for this kind of discussion, great; but if not, I hope that somebody would please direct me to the appropriate place.

Thanks

Somewhere between here, the CSS forum and the Website Design forum should cover all you need to know.
