Hi,

Right now I'm using frames but I want to shift to tables. Can i display my contents in tables as i displayed in frames. At present in my site www.sasnagarinfo.com when i click on the menu the contents are displayed on other part of the frame. Can this be possible with tables? If not how can i do that? Please solve my problem.

Thanks in advance.

If i understand your problem correctly, which im not sure if i do. You won't be able to use tables the way you did frames. If you want to use tables to hold your left hand menu and then another to hold the main body etc you will need to reload the page each time. E.g. when you click the "Links" links (for example) the links.htm page will be loaded which contains the menu table. This means that if you want to change some of the links you'll have to change them on every page.

Hope this helps and that what i said is correct....

That works, except there is a way where you don't have to made changes to every single page, like the previous person said. You can use SSI includes or PHP includes for it too

yup you can use either ASP or PHP to sort this out basically you include the page that corresponds using the header (ie www.someoldsite.com/index.php?path=home). It's not really that complex and if you don't know php, shouldn't take you too long too.
(obviously read up on a bit of PHP before creating it first)

If you need any help, feel free to PM me.

iframes are a little better than frames. Basically rather than dividing the entire page into framesets, you place a frame in the middle of an html page!

All about it:http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_iframe.asp
An example: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit....tryhtml_iframe
